My girlfriend though gets wrist pain from my MX Master as it's too big for her and she can't properly rest her wrist when using it.

For example, I quickly get fatigue or sometimes even cramps when I use my girlfriend's Logitech MX Anywhere for a few hours as the design is ultra portable (read ultra small) and my hands are big (XL-2XL gloves) so I end up using it with my hand shaped like a claw. Getting an ergonomic mouse that is the right size for your hand can make a big difference - especially if you will be using it for prolonged periods of time. In any case, I suggest paying attention to the ergonomics of the mice you consider buying - it is one of the only two things you physically interact with when using a computer.

I can't say I've had significant mouse issues till I got my Macbook Pro a couple months ago and I've been using computers since screens had 256 shades grey scale or 64 colours if you reduce the resolution, but then again I keep to reputable brands.
